ArunA’s serum-free and feeder-free adherent monolayer technology platform provides “off the shelf” access never before available human cell types. With our patented technology, ArunA can direct the differentiation of cells derived from human embryonic stem cells into various cell types for use in disease-specific research. This cellular technology combined with ArunA’s proprietary qualified media make our cell line kits an efficient and economical choice for drug discovery and basic research.
Because they are derived from human embryonic sources, ArunA’s human cells are renewable and using ArunA technology the derived cells are robust, uniform, easily maintained, highly proliferative, and readily grown into large populations needed for today’s high throughput research. Large batches of cells can be produced in less than 10 passages.
ArunA’s technology, based on an adherent monolayer cell culture, eliminates difficulties encountered in studies using other sources of stem cells and their derivatives. The adherent monolayer is designed for use in standard assay formats, from 96-well plates to flasks. These cells are ready for use and can be used in a variety of assay systems including planar imaging systems and can be used in diverse applications including cell-based assays, RNAi studies, and genetic manipulation. In addition, for drug screening and toxicity studies, all cells in the assay are uniformly exposed to the test agent ensuring the quality of assay results.
